Having a career in the performing arts ( many know me as Terra C MacLeod which is my stage name ) has allowed me to travel around the world over the last decade, and it is no surprise that I found a passion for photography and travel along the way.
My father bought me my first camera at the age of 11 and I have never been seen without one since. Anyone who knows me can say that I always have a camera in hand or by my side.
I'm intrigued by candid moments, to the unexpected to the complete stillness and simplicity captured in a photograph.
For every photo there is a story. There is something fascinating in knowing there is a permanent print of a memory, a time and place, a celebration, to a feeling embodied with energy.
Wether I am travelling halfway across the globe encountering the various diversities and cultures along the road or by simply taking in the beauty of a blooming magnolia tree , I am inspired daily by capturing what lies on the other side of the lens.
With continuous experimentation with themes, compositions and styles I hope to continue to take you along my photographic journeys.
